Emergency Medicine
The Emergency Department at Children's Health Ireland provides specialist emergency care for infants, children and young people with acute illnesses and injuries. Consultant-led teams assess and treat a wide range of urgent and emergency conditions, working closely with specialist services across CHI to ensure children receive timely and appropriate care.
Referrals
Children may attend the Emergency Department following referral from their GP or healthcare professional, or may present directly in an emergency. Healthcare professionals can access referral guidance and service information through the Emergency Medicine service page.
