MyChart

• MyChart is a safe and secure online patient portal that enables children, young people, and families to have access to specific parts of their Children’s Health Ireland Electronic Health Record through their own device (mobile phone, tablet, PC etc). 
• MyChart brings patients and families closer to their care than ever before. It gives you quick and easy access to your health information, whenever you need it.
• Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) is introducing MyChart alongside the opening of the National Children’s Hospital Ireland and the introduction of the new Electronic Health Record system.
• MyChart helps families and healthcare teams share information safely and easily - improving care for every child.

With MyChart, you can:

• See certain test results, clinic letters, and visit summaries
• View past and upcoming appointments
• Schedule urgent care appointments and blood tests
• Update your own/your child's information before visits and complete questionnaires
• Share health information with people who help care for your child

• MyChart gives children, young people & their families access to their own health information, placing them at the centre of their care
• You can see you / your child’s health information any time – no waiting for letters.
• Reduce need for phone calls and missed appointments.
• Helps save time in clinic.
• Helps you take more of an active role in your child’s care.
• Provides an enhanced patient experience

• Parents and carers can get access to see their child’s health information in MyChart.
• As children get older, they may be able to have their own MyChart access.

In MyChart you can view:

• A selection of test results
• Clinic letters and after-visit summaries
• Current medicines
• Allergies and health history
• Growth charts
• Past and upcoming appointments

• MyChart is safe, secure, with the option to view some information in Irish.
• You can choose to get updates by app, email, or text.

Sign-up for MyChart will be available when the National Children’s Hospital Ireland (NCHI) opens. Further information on how to sign up will be shared closer to the hospital’s opening and you will also be provided with sign-up details during your appointment.
