What to expect at the clinic appointment

If this is your child’s first appointment:

  • The team will ask about your child’s birth history, family history, and overall development.
  • The Orthodontist and Consultants will examine your child’s teeth, jaw, and bite using a dental chair.
  • Your child may require a dental X-ray for a better view of their teeth.
  • Clinical photographs may be taken as part of their assessment.
  • If your child is seeing other healthcare professionals (e.g. Paediatrician, Dentist, Orthodontist, or Specialist Consultants), please bring their names and contact details.
