Dr Michael Carter is a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist at Children’s Health Ireland at Crumlin. His special interests include epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology. He graduated from University College Dublin in 2009, completed higher specialist training in paediatrics in 2021, and has undertaken specialist fellowships in electroencephalography (EEG), adult neurology, transition neurology, and neuromuscular disorders. He was awarded a PhD from University College Cork in 2023 for research focused on autism and early neurodevelopment. His special interests include epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology.
