Library & information services
The Library and Information Services support clinical practice, research, and education/continuing professional development at Children’s Health Ireland. We aim to provide staff with the information resources they need, and the skills to easily access those resources, in a timely fashion.
CHI at Temple Street
- The Library is located on the ground floor behind Front Desk and virtually on the intranet. Intranet content is multidisciplinary and updated daily, Includes updates on the latest in the literature, staff publications, educational materials, conferences, seminars and more. The Library space is open to staff and students based in CHI at Temple St.
Our Services - Resources: Print and online books and journals, academic databases and online reference tools, document supply service.
- Training: Departmental group sessions and individualised training sessions by appointment. Various topics including search construction and performance, research, open access information sources.
- Literature Search Service: Mediated professional searches performed for creation and update of cross-hospital guideline creation and policies/protocols.
- Reading Room: CHI Temple St Library space is open 24/7 with swipe, wifi and study spaces with PCs
