About the Clinic

The Adult Craniofacial Clinic at Mater Misericordiae University Hospital provides specialist care for adults with craniofacial conditions. Led by Prof. Dylan Murray, Consultant Craniofacial Surgeon, the clinic offers ongoing management for both congenital and acquired craniofacial conditions, as well as skeletal disorders requiring jaw surgery.

Mr. Murray performs approximately 40 complex skeletal surgeries per year, including:

  • Double jaw surgery
  • Le Fort III distraction
  • Patient-Specific Implants (PSI)

Transitioning from Paediatric to Adult Care

Young people (aged 16 and over) who require continued treatment for craniofacial conditions will transition from the National Paediatric Craniofacial Centre (NPCC) to the Adult Craniofacial Clinic at the Mater Hospital.This transition is coordinated by: Noelle Oโ€™Mahony, Craniofacial Clinical Services Coordinator ๐Ÿ“ž 01 878 4441 | craniofacial@childrenshealthireland.ie relevant medical records, including radiology imaging and clinical photographs, will be securely transferred as part of the transition process.
