What to expect at the clinic appointment
If this is your child’s first appointment:
- The team will ask about your child’s birth history, family history, and overall development.
- The Orthodontist and Consultants will examine your child’s teeth, jaw, and bite using a dental chair.
- Your child may require a dental X-ray for a better view of their teeth.
- Clinical photographs may be taken as part of their assessment.
- If your child is seeing other healthcare professionals (e.g. Paediatrician, Dentist, Orthodontist, or Specialist Consultants), please bring their names and contact details.
If you cannot attend or need to reschedule, please contact the secretary as soon as possible at 01 878 4883. This allows us to offer the appointment to another child on our waiting list.
