Neurology is a medical specialty dealing with disorders of the nervous system. A neurologist is a doctor who specialises in neurology and is trained to investigate, diagnose and treat neurological disorders. Neurologists may also be involved in clinical research, and clinical trials.

The Neurology Department at Children's Health Ireland is a referral centre for children with neurological problems from all over the country.

Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Children’s Epilepsy, CHI at Crumlin

Roisin McGarry:

Roisin is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner candidate in Children's Epilepsy at CHI at Crumlin. Roisin’s clinical experience includes emergency nursing, community neurodisability, and neurology as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. She is dual qualified as a Registered Children's Nurse (RCN) and Registered Nurse in Intellectual Disability (RNID), and a Registered Nurse Prescriber. Roisin is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to children and young people with epilepsy and neurological conditions, while supporting their families throughout their healthcare journey.
