Neurology is a medical specialty dealing with disorders of the nervous system. A neurologist is a doctor who specialises in neurology and is trained to investigate, diagnose and treat neurological disorders. Neurologists may also be involved in clinical research, and clinical trials.
The Neurology Department at Children's Health Ireland is a referral centre for children with neurological problems from all over the country.

Our services
The objective of the neurology team is to provide a high standard of nursing and medical care in assessing investigating, diagnosing and treating children with neurological disorders.
