Urgent Care Centre

We treat children with minor injuries and illnesses that are not life-threatening and do not require a visit to the Emergency Department (ED).

It may be determined that your child's condition is best treated in a different facility. In this case, your child may not undergo medical assessment in UCC. The UCC team will advise you of the best place for the most appropriate care and treatment of your child.

A triage system is used in our Urgent Care Centre (UCC) to ensure that the patients with the most urgent needs are treated first. Waiting times can vary.
